Electric Earth Auger - 48V 2Ah Battery, 6" x 30" Bit

The newest auger they sell is good as a gas auger I used to use but the auger I bought for over $300 got hot started smoking and the motor won’t work any more only after a few months of working on weekends .i contacted them and they sent a replacement auger head . It came and I put a battery in it and the red light comes on and the auger doesn’t work. I contacted them again and sent a video and they send a link for a tiny mini auger half the size of mine with a bit you might use to plant a flower bulb 12 inches long . Not a 6 or 8 inch auger bit I use for fences and decks ,I told them to keep it. They are trying to help. I offered to send the auger heads back to them so they can see I’m not lying or the engineers could find out why they aren’t working and make a batter product , I ended up buying yet another auger . I’m not one to want anything free but you expect something to last for a little while anyway. Surely I’m not the only one this has happened to but they can allow any reviews they want.

I've only had this a few days, but I like it so far. It has performed well so far. I needed help in the yard, my back just isn't up to digging holes! This seems to do the job. I'm curious to see how the battery holds up. I charged it to full, when it arrived. I have placed 4 to 5 holes each day, over the last couple days and it's strong. I question the quality or ability of a tiny plug for a large battery like those that come with Ryobi tools or something similar. I would recommend so far. I purchased after I saw that the company I hired to do some work for me also had one. Beats the price of a rental, hands down. You have to love the value for your money in this. It's easy to operate, size is easy to manage.

I like it better than the gasoline type handles great and the battery holds up well no problem so far

This have been a life saver this summer… it’s been very helpful digging through my red southern clay! Used primarily for plantings, so I rarely run out of battery power. It’s definitely for residential/light use. I bought it on a Black Friday sale which makes it even more enjoyable…
